Welcome to TREC Scotland's official website. The Scottish Trec Action Group (STAG) was set up to help promote the sport of TREC in Scotland. STAG's main goal is to increase the take-up of TREC in Scotland, by organising training, competitions and liaising with the British Horse Society (BHS) about the growth and development of the sport in Scotland. Keep an eye for details of upcoming events, competitions and training dates. Find out more about STAG and what TREC is and how you can get involved in this exciting and social sport.

ORGANISING TREC EVENT?

TREC is perhaps one of the most flexible of equestrian sports. It offers a friendly introduction into the world of equestrian sport, yet it can also be demanding and invigorating for those competitors at the other end of the scale.

Organisers of BHS TREC events take on the important task of choosing the venue, finding a Traceur that will cater for the right level of competitor and designing the PTV course.

The Organiser’s Support Pack is designed to assist Organiser by providing useful information that can be used in their events.
